This module provides information to build a basis of knowledge about psychopharmacology in schizophrenia, the dopamine hypothesis and how first and second generation antipsychotics work. This module also covers the use of two rating scales in clinical practice – the Glasgow Antipsychotic Side Effect Scale (GASS) and Medication Adherence Rating Scale (MARS).
